Take a time out for self-care

In today’s society, taking time for yourself is often looked upon as being selfish or unproductive. You have a job to do, a house to take care of, bills to pay. How can you possibly justify taking time out for self-care without feeling guilty about it?⁠

The truth is that without self-care, you’re not giving yourself a fighting chance to give your best to each aspect of your life. If you don’t take care of your own needs first, you’ll find yourself burnt out, fatigued, and struggling in everyday life before you know it.⁠
Self-care is important to maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself. It means doing things to take care of our minds, bodies, and souls by engaging in activities that promote well-being and reduce stress. Doing so enhances our ability to live fully, vibrantly, and effectively.  Shift your perspective and accept that taking time for self-care is key if you truly want to live a productive, happy, and successful life.⁠

Our favorite ways to shift our perspective is to take a walk in nature or on the beach like we do here in Hawaii.  Or you could do some yoga or get a massage.  It's up to you!  
BUT, our favorite way to self-care here at Mantra Skincare, is taking care of our skin by doing a facial. We steam over hot water for our favorite essential oil to awaken the senses and open the pores. Then we massage our skin with oil to pull out all the impurities and deeply clean. After a warm washcloth rinse, we spritz our Beauty Water all over our face and then we slather our oils on to seal all the goodness in and renew the skin with all the amazing benefits they bring. 🧘🏻‍♂️⁠
